Some coffees are gentle. Some are familiar.
This one is luminous. Ethiopia Gotiti carries the kind of clarity and floral expression that has made Yirgacheffe legendary among coffee drinkers—bright, elegant, and layered from first sip to last.

Origin & Producers
This lot comes from smallholder farmers in the Gotiti community of the Gedeb district—an elevated pocket of the Gedeo Zone known for producing some of the most expressive washed coffees in Ethiopia. Farms here are tiny, often less than two hectares, and tended by families who have been cultivating indigenous Ethiopian landrace varieties for generations. Coffee is carried—often on foot or by mule—to the Gotiti washing station, where careful hand sorting, fresh spring washing, and slow raised-bed drying preserve the coffee’s delicate character.

Processing
Cherries are depulped and soaked overnight, then dried on raised beds for 12–15 days. This meticulous washed process enhances the clarity of the cup, allowing the region’s high-elevation terroir and floral sweetness to shine without fermentation intensity.

Flavor Experience
Expect soft honeydew sweetness, a delicate floral-candy aromatics, and a clean, tea-like finish reminiscent of jasmine green tea. As the coffee cools, the fruit widens—gentle pear, stonefruit, and white flower notes bloom with a cool sweetness and silky texture.

This is a coffee for those who appreciate nuance—best enjoyed with pour-over or any brewing method that highlights clarity and aromatics.

A quiet standout — elegant, sweet, and deeply floral.
