Our Colombia Norte de Caldas is sourced from family-owned smallholder farms located in the department of Caldas, Colombia. Smallholder farms spread across central Colombia in the Andes Mountain Range. The average producer in Caldas cultivates their coffee on less than 5 acres of land. These small acre farms have fertile lands and high altitudes, between 1,200 and 1,850 m.a.s.l. and are ideal for growing quality coffee. They then use their own small mills to process harvested cherries - de-pulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee.

We are proud to offer this coffee curated by out long time importing partner, Balzac Brothers. They remain dedicated supporting small producers, as a means to help improve farmer access to international markets and higher earnings.
